経済同友会は、日本の「経済三団体」の一つである企業経営者団体です。2019年度、東洋大学は産学連携教育を実践する観点から、その経済同友会会員企業に対するインターンシップを主催する「一般社団法人経済同友会インターンシップ推進協会」と協定を締結。約4週間のインターンシップを実施しています。2019年度は86名の応募者の中から学内選考を経た学部2年生11名が参加し、派遣先企業での就業体験や研修プログラムにより、普段の学生生活だけでは得がたい経験を積みました。2019年11月4日には白山キャンパスにおいて、その成果報告会が開催され、視野の広がりや自身の成長を発表しました。

Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives) is one of the three major business organizations in Japan. In AY2019, to provide education through the industry–academia partnership, Toyo University concluded an agreement with the Advanced Internship Institute of Doyukai, which, under the umbrella of Keizai Doyukai, arranges internships lasting about four weeks at Keizai Doyukai member companies. In AY2019, 11 second-year Toyo University students selected from 86 applicants through in-house screening interned and attended training programs at Keizai Doyukai member companies, gaining valuable experience that they could not have attained otherwise from their ordinary campus lives. At an achievement report meeting held at the Hakusan Campus on November 4, 2019, the 11 students presented how the internships had broadened their perspectives and boosted their self-development.
