EU “Erasmus+ Programme” with Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania

“Erasmus+ Programme” is the EU's flagship education initiative that offers opportunities to higher education institutions all over the world to engage with European counterparts as part of higher education mobility and cooperation projects. The Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania, applied for the “Erasmus+ Programme” in collaboration with the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, Toyo University, in 2017, and the proposal was successfully accepted by the European Commission, EU. In 2018, a professor from Politehnica University of Timisoara gave lectures on “Fluid mechanics and dynamics” and a post-doctoral researcher had a special training on “Transmission electron microscopes” at Toyo University. A professor of Toyo University gave lectures on “Nanotechnology and nanomaterials” to researchers and students of the Politehnica University of Timosoara. The International workshop was held as part of the “Erasmus+ Programme” on 12th September 2018 and professors of Toyo University gave plenary talks on nanoscience and nanotechnology.
