東洋大学は、東京オリンピック・パラリンピックへの貢献、閉式後にレガシーとして残りうる研究成果創出を目指し、2017年度に独自の研究助成制度「東洋大学オリンピック・パラリンピック研究助成制度」を創設。採択された7つの研究プロジェクトは、女性アスリートのためのクラウドキュレーティングシステムの構築、ダイバーシティ実現に向けた幼児期からの教育プログラムの開発、メダル獲得を目指した純国産カヌーの開発といった多彩な研究が展開されており、これらの研究成果を2021年12月1日に配信。研究代表者による発表および資料を公開するとともに、未来に繋がる成果やコロナ禍での研究活動のエピソードなどを披露する研究代表者7名によるパネルディスカッションの模様を映像で公開しています。

Toyo University established its own research grant program, the Toyo University Olympic and Paralympic Research Grant Program, in AY2017 with the aim of contributing to the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics and creating research results that can remain as a legacy after the closing ceremony. The seven research projects selected for the program are diverse, including the construction of a crowd-curating system for female athletes, the development of an educational program from early childhood for the realization of diversity, and the development of a purely domestic canoe for medal-winning athletes. The results of these research projects are presented in video presentations on December 1, 2021.
