Various Efforts to Ensure Learning Opportunities for Students in the Ongoing COVID-19 Situation

With the establishment of the Toyo University Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response Committee, Toyo University has made various efforts in collaboration with its faculty and staff members, including efforts to ensure its students’ learning opportunities, under the basic policy of thorough measures to prevent infection. In October 2021, taking social conditions into consideration, we increased the percentage of in-person classes on campus, and from April 2022, we started to offer in-person classes on campus as a general rule. Also, we are taking cautious and gradual steps to resume our extracurricular activities. We have been continuing our support through the RIBBON scholarship for our students whose financial provider has lost his/her job due to the infectious disease, and are working on reforms and improvements in our educational and other activities by conducting questionnaires targeting our students.
