東洋大学では、入学直後から大学生活全般にわたって、多彩なキャリア教育、キャリア支援を実施。経済産業省が提唱する「社会人基礎力」、文部科学省が示す「学士力」に基づいた独自の「自立形成力アセスメント」を制定し、「自律」から「自立」への教育機会を提供しています。2021年にデジタル技術を活用して社会課題を解決する考え方を身に付けるDX人材育成プログラム「東洋大学キャリア・オナーズプログラム」や1・2年生対象に国内・海外企業のミッションにチャレンジする課題解決プログラムなど様々なプログラムを開催しました。白山キャンパスには「個室防音ブース」も設置し、オンライン面接などの目的で使用可能です。今後も、学生が自らの手でキャリアを築けるための支援を続けていきます。

Toyo University offers a variety of Career education and support programs, starting immediately after university entry and continuing throughout the entire university life. We have established our own "Assessment of Independence Development Skills" based on the "basic skills as a member of society" advocated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (“METI”) and the "graduate attributes" indicated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (“MEXT”), and provide our students with educational opportunities to become "self-directed" and then "independent" In 2021, we conducted various programs such as the Toyo University Career Honors Program, a DX human resource development program to acquire methods of thinking to solve social issues by utilizing digital technology, and a problem-solving program for our first and second year students to challenge missions given by domestic and overseas companies. Our Hakusan Campus has installed "soundproof booths" which can be used for online interviews and other purposes. We will continue to support our students so that they will be able to build their careers on their own.
