東洋大学は2014年に文部科学省「スーパーグローバル大学創成支援事業（タイプＢ：グローバル化牽引型）」の採択を受け、日本社会のグローバル化を牽引する大学を目指し国際化を推進しています。2022年1月には、交流と学びを通じ学生の成長を促す国際交流宿舎「AI-House HUB-4」を赤羽台キャンパス内にオープン。本宿舎は国際社会を生きるうえで重要な「共生の場」をコンセプトとしており、多彩な教育プログラムやイベントを通じて、様々な背景を持つ仲間と生活しながら交流し、価値観や文化的な違いを乗り越えることでその力を伸ばしてほしいという願いが込められています。今後も国際化を促進し、グローバル社会で活躍できる人材の育成を目指してまいります。

In 2014, Toyo University was selected as one of the Type B (Global Traction Type) Universities for the Top Global University Project by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (“MEXT”), promoting internationalization with the aim of becoming a university that leads the globalization of Japanese society. In January 2022, the International Residence “AI-House HUB-4” was opened on our Akabanedai Campus, which aims to promote the growth of our students through exchange and learning. Based on the concept of a "place of coexistence," which is important for living in an international society, we hope that our students will live and interact with their peers of various backgrounds and develop their abilities by overcoming cultural and value differences through a variety of educational programs and events. We will continue to promote internationalization and develop human resources who will play an active role in global society.
