講演タイトル：Diversity and Aging in Korea: How Adult Education and Learning(ALE) Support Older (Im)migrants to their Later Lives
概要：
The issues of older people, migration, and the learning of adults are all interrelated and entangled. This talk focuses on the care of older people who are (im)migrants in Korea. Care of older (im)migrants has introduced various diversity issues in both social work and adult education, which brings the initial momentum for Korea to consider their intersections. Currently, there are groups of older (im)migrants in Korea and their characteristics are different from one another except that they have (im)migrant backgrounds. While the efforts of Korean civil society are greatly needed to make Korea a better place for its citizens and residents including these older (im)migrants, adult learning and education should have a meaningful role in helping everyone to understand universal human rights for all, reject racism and ageism, and learn how to live together in this changing Korean society.
