新時代を担う「情報」「福祉」「スポーツ科学」の拠点に 赤羽台キャンパスの教育・研究環境を拡充 A Project in Progress to Establish a Hub for Information, Welfare, and Sports Science in the New EraEducation and Research Facilities at the Akabanedai Campus to Be Upgraded
2017年4月に開設した赤羽台キャンパス（東京都北区）では現在、情報連携学部・情報連携学研究科の学生が学んでいます。2021年に予定されている新校舎の竣工とライフデザイン学部等（現・埼玉県 朝霞キャンパス）の移転、さらには構想中の2学部4学科の開設により、赤羽台キャンパスの教育・研究環境をさらに拡充。東京23区で高齢化率の最も高い北区と連携し、既設の情報連携学部等と協働して、地域社会の課題解決・発展に努めていきます。
At the Akabanedai Campus (Kita City, Tokyo), opened in April 2017, undergraduate students in the Faculty of Information Networking for Innovation and Design and graduate students in the Graduate School of Information Networking for Innovation and Design are now pursuing their studies. Through the relocation of the Faculty and Graduate School of Human Life Design from the Asaka Campus in Saitama Prefecture, which is planned for 2021, as well as the projected establishment of two faculties and four departments, education and research facilities at the Akabanedai Campus will be further upgraded. Toyo University will promote partnerships between the existing Faculty and the Graduate School of Information Networking for Innovation and Design at the Akabanedai Campus as well as the municipality of Kita City, which has the highest percentage of residents aged 65 or older among the 23 special municipalities of Tokyo, to help the local communities solve problems and develop themselves.

ライフデザイン学部等を赤羽台キャンパスへ移転 Faculty and Graduate School of Human Life Design to Be Relocated to the Akabanedai Campus in April 20212021年に朝霞キャンパスから移転するライフデザイン学部・ライフデザイン学研究科。現在建設中の地下1階・地上9階建ての新校舎は、新国立競技場などを手掛ける隈研吾建築都市設計事務所が建築設計を担当しています。各種実験・制作工房や介護・調理等実習室を設置し、より実践的な教育・研究を推進します。 The Faculty and Graduate School of Human Life Design will be relocated from the Asaka Campus in 2021. The new building of the faculty and graduate school that’s under construction, with nine stories above ground and one below, is designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, which also designed the New National Stadium and other iconic buildings. Housing various laboratories, studios, and rooms for practicums in nursing care, cooking, etc., the new building will help immensely in promoting further practical education and research.

新たな2学部4学科を開設予定 福祉・スポーツ科学の一大拠点に A Campus that will Serve as a Hub for Welfare and Sports Science through the Establishment of Two Faculties and Four Departments Planned for April 20232023年には、赤羽台キャンパスに新たな2学部4学科の開設を構想中です。 The University is drawing up plans to establish two faculties and four departments at the Akabanedai Campus in 2023. The campus will serve as an important hub for the pursuit of welfare and sports science, to help address health problems and social issues, including the aging population and low birthrate.
