In the 21st century, ICT (Information and Communication Technology) has become a supporting foundation for society, and its utilization is considered to greatly influence the lives of people and the development of the economy.
In April of 2009, the "Faculty of Information Sciences and Arts" was established at Toyo University to pioneer the new information research field based on the demand from society to properly utilize information communication technology in various industrial fields and human behavior. We train human resources who can understand the relationships between information and various knowledge fields such as industry, economy, culture, arts, environment, and psychology, and who can creatively increase information value in various social fields.

This Faculty has only one department; the Department of Information Sciences and Arts.
