Overview

business

The Faculty of Business Administration of Toyo University was established in 1966. In 2005, first and second year students were transferred to the Hakusan Main Campus, unifying the four-year education at the capital. In addition to the benefits of an environment where students can attend all classes and seminars on one campus, the chance to study in "Tokyo," an international hub in world economy, while feeling the trends of corporate activities and society, is a great advantage in learning business administration.

Study of business administration is closely related to "the present." In the stream of time and an ever-changing society, business administration methods and the market environment are studied, various problems that occur inside and outside of companies are analyzed and solved, and necessary knowledge and techniques for company decision-making are scientifically studied. Study targets in business administration include all business activities. However, various elements, such as social economy, environmental issues, and social conditions are closely related to such activities. As a consequence, rather than a specialized frame of business administration, a broad vision is needed when studying business administration.

As internationalization and informatization continue to progress, business activities have become more diversified and complex. The Faculty of Business Administration of Toyo University provides a wide range of curricula so students can acquire a broad viewpoint which can adapt to the changes in business administration, and in order to cultivate "capable" human resources who can actively participate in the real society.
