Entrance Ceremony and Graduation

Every year, Toyo University holds an Entrance Ceremony for new students and a Graduation to celebrate the departure of graduates.

Entrance Ceremony

The Entrance Ceremony is held at the Nippon Budokan (*) in April when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.
(*) The Nippon Budokan was built as one of the Tokyo Olympic sites, and is one of the top multipurpose facilities in Japan, capable of holding about 14,000 people.

Baccalaureate addresses by the President and Vice President, and addresses by department deans include the following messages for graduates leaving the campus.

  • Graduation is not the end, but rather a new beginning
  • One of the most important things in life is to continue learning
  • Do not forget to have appreciation and maintain pride as a Toyo University graduate
