Invitation to the staff and student exchange programmes in collaboration with the University of Bucharest, Romania

The Erasmus+ Programme, which the University of Bucharest, Romania, had applied for in collaboration with the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, Toyo University, was accepted by the European Commission, EU in November 2019.

There are two categories in the current programme;

 (a) Staff mobility for teaching assignment (STA); and

 (b) Student mobility for studies (SMS)

                                                                                                                      

Two members; one from the teaching staff members and the other one from the PhD students, are invited to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme in collaboration with the University of Bucharest.

                                                                                                                      

Invitation to the Erasmus+ STA programme

1.  Teaching staff member:

        One professor, associate professor or lecturer from Toyo University is invited to participate in the programme.

2.  Subject

        Biology

3.  Duty:

        To give scientific lectures for 8 hours to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Bucharest.

4.  Period of stay:

        5 days in 2020 (February 2020 – 30th September 2021)

5.  Award:

        €2,480 will be transferred to the participant’s bank account from the University of Bucharest for an economy class return flight, accommodation and daily expenses.

6.  Important dates:

        The application form should be submitted to the Research Support Office, Toyo University, by 24th January 2020.

       An appropriate teaching representative will be selected by the Selection Committee composed of the President, the Vice-President in charge of the Promotion of Research, the Administrative Director of the International Affairs Office and the Director of the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, Toyo University. The result will be announced on 7th February 2020.

1.  Student:

       One PhD student of Toyo University is invited to participate in the programme.

2.  Subject

        Biology

3.  Purpose:

       To carry out collaborative research at the University of Bucharest.

4.  Requirements:

       The participant should be able to carry out research in collaboration with researchers and students of the University of Bucharest.

5.  Period of stay:

       95 days in 2020 (February 2020 – 30th September 2021).

6.  Award:

       €4,007 will be transferred to the participant’s bank account from the University of Bucharest for an economy class return flight, accommodation and daily expenses.

7.  Important dates:

        The application form should be submitted to the Research Support Office, Toyo University, by 24th January 2020.
