The Research Center for Creative Management at TOYO University (hereinafter referred as “the Center”) is selected again as “the Private University Strategic Research Capability Enhancing Project” in 2014 supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and starts its research activity based on "the Creation of Small Businesses Management and Training of Global Entrepreneurs".
The Center tries to realize the above-mentioned research objects through organizing three research groups with its specific research topics as follow:

Research Group Ⅰ:“Emergence & Management Reforming of
Small Businesses in Japan”,
Research Group Ⅱ: “Creation of Asian Small Businesses &
Global Entrepreneur Training”,
Research Group Ⅲ: “Global Entrepreneurship &
New Venture Management”.

Profile of the Center

The Center has been established in June, 2004 as the open research center supported by "the Private University Research Capability Advancement Promotion Project" of MEXT. The Center has actively performed its research activities under the theme of “Creating of the New Competitiveness based on the Japanese-style Management of Marketing Technology", and sent the results inside and out.
Such an activity was evaluated and could receive the award of "the Private University Strategic Research Capability Enhancing Project" by MEXT of 2009. The Center could have developed its research activities under the new theme of “Creating Japanese-style Management Capabilities and the ‘New Japanese-style’ Middle & Top Management Education”.
The Center is selected with awarding in 2014 again under "the Private University Strategic Research Capability Enhancing Project“ of MEXT, and expands its research activities under the theme of “the Creation of Small Businesses Management and Training of Global Entrepreneurs”. The Center aims at clarifying the Management Principle of the Small Busses (hereinafter referred as “SB”) through cooperating with an internal and external universities and research organizations. The Center tries to make research based on both theory and practice with feeding back its research results for management education at the Graduate and Under-graduate of Business Administration Department.

Research Outline

The Center focuses on the management of SB and works on a project-based research activities (hereinafter referred as PR) under the following three research topics.
The first PR studies the new venture businesses (hereinafter referred as VB) with the technology, training entrepreneurs started their venture businesses in Japan and the management capability of SB which can grow without being conscious of a border based on the Japanese management. The second PR studies business continuity and the development of SB from the viewpoint of the entrepreneurs starting from Asia. The third PR studies the creation of SB and the global entrepreneurship by comparing Europe, America, Asia and Japan that can be targeted for investment as a driving force of economic growth and development.
