On October 17th, Toyo University concluded a set of agreements with JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Jyväskylä, Finland). These are the Cooperative Agreement, the Student Exchange Agreement, and the Visiting Student Agreement. The agreements are aimed at promoting collaborative research, fee waiver student exchanges, and the sending of students between the two universities. In the afternoon of the same day, the signing ceremony was held at Toyo University and JAMK University of Applied Sciences became our third partner university in Northern Europe. JAMK is an international university and about 14% of the whole student body are from outside of Finland. The university is especially strong in the fields of business, tourism, health studies and social studies, and they are ranked first in Finland in cyber security. Dr. Halttunen, President of JAMK University of Applied Sciences, expressed high hopes for our academic cooperation and student exchange, and Toyo University aims to exceed these expectations.
