2021 Summer Internship Program with Toyo University and Shimane University
Toyo University is the only university in Tokyo selected for the International Student Career Support Program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
This internship aims to encourage I-turn employment (moving from urban areas to rural areas for employment) by giving international students an opportunity to learn about excellent companies in regional cities.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, the entire program was held online.
With cooperation from companies in Shimane Prefecture and Okayama Prefecture, 14 international students from Toyo University and four international students from Shimane University participated, and worked on a project-based internship.
The internship was held for 10 days, from August 24 to September 4.
