Sake for Fun's Sake, an event that allows students to bridge the gap regarding Nihonshu knowledge between Japan and international countries

TGS (Toyo Gem Stone), a student organization approved by the Toyo University International Education Center, will hold an online course "Sake for Fun's Sake" on December 11, 2020 at 6:15 p.m. JST for our partner universities.

Due to COVID-19, we were forced to cancel many of our international exchange events.
Even in this situation, TGS kept looking for ways to interact with students from abroad and planned an event that would bring together students from around the world through Nihonshu, which is a part of Japanese culture.

Each member of the team brings an international perspective from their study abroad and cross-cultural experiences to this event. All international students, from those who are familiar with Japanese culture to those who are not, can enjoy and learn about Nihonshu together with TGS.
We invite you to join us on a 60-minute journey through the basics of Nihonshu in English.

Last year, TGS held the Illumination light-up ceremony at Toyo University, but this time we are taking on the challenge to the world.
We look forward to your participation and support for this year's event.
