Toyo University presents our career supports for international students at the JETRO seminar
Mr. Makoto Tamada, manager of the International Affairs Office, presented Toyo University's career supports for international students at the February 28 JETRO seminar.
The seminar sought to provide the latest information on policies, government measures, procedures, and necessary considerations in hiring international staff with the aim of supporting smaller businesses that want to expand globally and hire international staff.
Mr. Tamada presented the outlines, achievements and challenges of the "I-Turn Employment Promotion Program for International Students." This program aims to promote international student “I-turn employment” (employment in areas other than where international students study abroad). He also talked about the possible social benefits of the program.
