Qualifications Obtainable in the Faculty of Science and Engineering
Your path after graduation is closely related to your qualifications.
Students who enroll in the Faculty of Science and Engineering can apply for several additional qualifications that can be obtained at the time of graduation by acquiring credits from designated courses.
◎Written examination exemption by acquiring credits from designated courses and from graduation (qualification can be obtained by passing technical examinations)
○Qualification to attempt the examination can be obtained by acquiring credits in designated courses.
◆Qualification to attempt the examination can be obtained at the time of graduation by acquiring credits in designated courses.
■Qualification can be obtained by acquiring credits in designated courses and acquiring a specific amount of practical experience after graduation.
□Qualification to attempt the examination can be obtained by acquiring credits in designated courses and obtaining a specific amount of practical experience after graduation.
◇Qualification can be obtained by passing an examination while enrolled or after graduation (through a department in which a student can study and prepare).
▲Qualification to attempt the examination can be acquired by gaining a specific amount of practical experience after graduation.
△Examination courses can be partially exempted on graduation.
Note 1) Students are exempted from the primary examination on graduation from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Note 2) Qualification can be obtained by applying to The Institute of Professional Engineers, Japan (Inc.) after graduation from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
