Department of Business Administration

Admission policy (policy of a new student acceptance)

The Department of Business Administration strives to foster talented human resources who will become management professionals. To that end, applicants are sought with the following skills:

(1) Students with advanced abilities in English, Japanese, geography/history, civics, mathematics, science, and other classes they took in high school.

(2) Students who understand events in society based on a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and the ability to objectively analyze these events. Students who have a good understanding of their strengths and weaknesses and the organizations to which they belong (such as student clubs and sports teams), as well as their surroundings (including their competitive opponents). Students who are also able to consider the steps necessary for achieving objectives and to summarize their opinions regarding those steps.

(3) Students with the following types of interests, ambitions, and attitudes:
- An interest in developments in politics, economics, society, and technology as well as in
   the activities of companies
- A desire to study how these fields mutually influence each other
- A desire to develop the ability to contribute sound judgment and knowledge of business
   administration in organizations in which one is involved in the future
- A willingness to deepen one’s understanding of the above topics through dialogue and
discussion with others in an effort to pursue mutual learning
- A desire to come in contact with and understand other cultures

(4) Students able to accurately express their ideas in Japanese and communicate with and persuade others based on objective analysis.
 

Department of Marketing

Admission policy (policy of a new student acceptance)

The Department of Marketing strives to foster talented human resources who are capable of proposing appealing marketing strategies using marketing sense and science. To that end, applicants are sought with the following capabilities:

(1) Students with advanced abilities in English, Japanese, geography/history, civics, mathematics, science, and other classes they took in high school.

(2) Students who understand social phenomena based on a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and are able to objectively analyze these events.

(3) Students with the following types of interests, ambitions, and attitudes:
- An interest in developments in economics, society, technological innovation, and consumer
      behavior (with a particular desire to deepen their knowledge in this last area)
- A desire to study how developments in these fields influence organizations’ marketing
      activities
- A desire to develop the ability to contribute sound judgment and knowledge of marketing in
     the organizations in which one is involved in the future. Furthermore, a desire to propose
     relevant strategic proposals
- A willingness to deepen one’s understanding of various issues through dialogue and
     discussion with others

(4) Students able to accurately express their ideas in Japanese and communicate with and persuade others based on objective analysis.
 

Department of Accounting and Finance

Admission policy (policy of a new student acceptance)

The Department of Accounting and Finance strives to foster talented human resources who possess specialized knowledge of accounting and finance, in addition to general knowledge of corporate business administration, and who are able to scientifically analyze companies. To that end, applicants are sought with the following capabilities.

(1) Students with advanced abilities in English, Japanese, geography/history, civics, mathematics, science, and other classes they took in high school.

(2) Students who understand social phenomena based on a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and are able to objectively analyze these events.

(3) Students with the following types of interests and ambitions:
- An interest in economics, society, global affairs, and scientific technology
- A desire to actively contribute specialized knowledge, primarily in the field of accounting/finance, to the organizations in which one is involved in the future

(4) Students able to accurately express their ideas in Japanese and to communicate with and persuade others based on objective analysis.

 

Department of Business Administration(Evening Course)

Admission policy (policy of a new student acceptance)

The Department of Business Administration (Evening Course) strives to foster talented human resources who will become management professionals. To that end, applicants are sought with the following capabilities.

(1) Students with advanced abilities in English, Japanese, geography/history, civics, mathematics, science, and other classes they took in high school.

(2) Students who understand events in society based on a comprehensive foundation of knowledge and are able to objectively analyze these events.

Students who are also able to consider the steps necessary for achieving objectives and summarize their opinions regarding those steps.

(3) Students with the following types of interests, ambitions, and attitudes:
- An interest in developments in economics and society
- A desire to learn to gain a broad and rich educational perspective
- A willingness to learn specialized knowledge of business administration based on a  multifaceted understanding
of corporate administration
- A desire to identify problems in these fields, engage in self-initiated learning and observation, and
propose one’s own solutions

(4) Students able to accurately express their ideas in Japanese and communicate with and persuade others based on objective analysis.
