By good fortune, we ac-quired a copy of the first edition through our archival collecting efforts for Middle Eastern repre-sentations as part of the Global Mediterranean project at ACRI. Despite being readable, the copy in our possession is not in impec-cable condition. We have none-theless made the decision to re-print it for following two reasons. Firstly, upon comparing our copy with the second edi-tion, we discovered some edito-rial modifications and changes that have not been documented in existing studies. Most nota-bly, the second edition includes a two-page preface by Archibald Henry Sayce (1845-1933), a Brit-ish Assyriologist and Orientalist, as well as an appendix consisting of quotes from the writings of
