Online International Conference

The Online International Conference “Philosophy of post-Fukushima” was held on December 17, 2011 starting at 18:00. Connecting via the Internet France (Strasbourg University), Germany (University of Munich), and Japan (Toyo University), the conference featured lectures by Dr. Jean-Luc Nancy (France) and Dr. Bernhard Waldenfels (Germany). The Japanese venue was Enryo Hall on the Toyo University’s Hakusan Campus, where the audience could choose Japanese, French, or German language from simultaneous interpretation channels. From Japan, Ichiro Yamaguchi (researcher IRCP) and Prof. Osamu Nishitani (Graduate School of Global Studies, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies) participated as commentators and Katsuzo Murakami (director, IRCP) moderated the discussion.
