Jan. 14, 2015.Toyo University’s Educational Corporation receives an AA/Stable Rating again.

Toyo University’s Educational Corporation received an AA/Stable Long-term Issuer Rating (double A flat) by the Japan Credit Rating Agency, Ltd. (JCR) for the 7th year in a row and its outlook was evaluated as “Stable” on Jan. 14, 2015.

AA is the third highest rating out of 21 grades, indicating a very high degree of reliability in obligation performance. For example, (1) The number of applicants for enrollment is steady. In fact, Toyo is one of the largest private universities, with highly stable tuition income. (2) Although a number of projects to upgrade facilities are being implemented, they can basically be financed with the cash flow and accumulated operation funds, and are considered to promote excellent financial soundness. (3) High quality education at city campuses will result in producing promising talent for society, contributing to the competitiveness of the University over the long term

Although we consider this AA rating as recognition of the value of the Educational Cooperation and our efforts to maintain a healthy financial structure, education, research and social contribution, we are not simply content with this rating but seek to continue to fulfill our social responsibility to provide high-quality education, promote advanced and modern research, contribute intellectual results to the society, and expand the brand value of this University..
