The 38th Toyo University calligraphy exhibition was held

Sunday-Saturday, Jan. 4-10, 2014. The 38th Toyo University calligraphy exhibition was held at the exhibition hall on the first floor of Bunkyo Civic Center sponsored by the Faculty of Literature.

The exhibition focused on calligraphy works by students from the Department of Japanese Literature and Culture, Faculty of Literature.  140 pieces were exhibited, including calligraphies from University Founder Enryo Inoue, President Makio Takemura, graduate students, students from abroad, and University teachers based on Kanji, Kana and Classical literature study.

More than 1600 people visited the seven day exhibition including President Makio Takemura.
