Erasmus+ programme accepted by the European Commission

The Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre (BNERC) and the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary New Science (IdNS) have developed advanced research and educational programmes in collaboration with overseas universities in the UK, France, the US, India, Romania, Italy, etc.

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. The Erasmus+ Programme, which the Politehnica University of Timisoara (PUT), Romania, had previously applied for in collaboration with the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, Toyo University, was accepted by the European Commission, EU.

There are three categories in the programme;
(a) Student mobility for studies (SMS);
(b) Staff mobility for teaching assignment (STA); and
(c) Staff training for training assignment (STT).              


Two members; one from the teaching staff and the other one from the administrative staff, are invited to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme in collaboration with PUT.

Invitation to the Erasmus+ teaching programme

1.  Teaching staff:
        One professor, associate professor or lecturer from Toyo University is invited to participate in the programme.
2.  Duty:
        To give scientific lectures to undergraduate and graduate students at PUT.
3.  Period of stay:
        11 days in September 2018
4.  Award:
        €2,640 will be transferred to the participant’s bank account from PUT for an economy class return flight, accommodation and daily expenses.
5.  Important dates:
        The application form should be submitted to the Research Support Office, Toyo University, by 13th April 2018.
       An appropriate teaching representative will be selected by the Selection Committee composed of the President, the Vice-President in charge of the Promotion of Research, the Administrative Director of the International Affairs Office and the Director of the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, Toyo University. The result will be announced on 20th April 2018.

Invitation to the Erasmus+ administrative programme

1.  Administrative staff:
       One administrative representative of Toyo University is invited to participate in the programme.
2.  Purpose:
       To promote the smooth operation and management of the Erasmus+ Programme in collaboration with PUT.
3.  Requirements:
       The participant should be able to carry out the Erasmus+ Programme smoothly and efficiently in collaboration with the administrative staff of PUT.
       The participant should be able to utilise the outcome of the collaborative Erasmus+ Programme for the globalisation of Toyo University.
4.  Period of stay:
        11 days in September 2018
5.  Award:
       €2,640 will be transferred to the participant’s bank account from PUT for an economy class return flight, accommodation and daily expenses.
6.  Important dates:
       The application form and documents should be submitted to the Research Support Office by 13th April 2018.
       An appropriate administrative representative will be selected by the Selection Committee composed of the President, the Vice-President in charge of the Promotion of Research, the Administrative Director of the International Affairs Office and the Director of the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, Toyo University. The result will be announced on 20th April 2018.
