This one time video lecture will introduce you to the basics of Privacy-Preserving Data Management. You will learn the three pillars of the management system: 1. Encryption & de-identification for data & privacy protection, 2. Distributed infrastructure/ledger for data integrity, and 3. Inquiry & response for preservation of privacy. This lesson introduces you to the importance of protecting privacy while we use big data, such as open data to promote new innovations in this age of digital and technology. In the end, you will be able to see that the integration and collaboration of various areas of research topics are crucial to create new solutions for the future.
