Departments

Department of Human Care and Support (Human Care and Support Course)
Students in the Human Care and Support Course, in the Department of Human Care and Support, learn basic social welfare, and acquire knowledge and practical abilities necessary to support people in realizing high quality of life and to work in welfare facilities. Students aim to acquire national licenses such as Certified Social Worker, Care Worker and Psychiatric Social Worker, and grow into professionals with creativity and leadership that meet the needs of the times.
Department of Human Care and Support (Social Work and Child Care Course)
The Social Work and Child Care Course, in the Department of Human Care and Support, offers opportunities for students to study childcare, childhood education and children’s social welfare from various perspectives, and grow into professionals that support children for their growth and happiness. We aim for a solid understanding of various problems involving children in present-day society, and to impart a wide range of specialized knowledge and skills to solve the problems of children, families and communities.
Department of Health Care and Sports
The Department of Health Care and Sports aims to train students to contribute to society by supporting people’s health through sports, while imparting a wide range of knowledge about human body structure, welfare and health as well as practical classes geared toward becoming professionals in sports- and health-related fields. We aim to produce human resources that can support all people, including children, the elderly, and the disabled, in maintaining health through physical activity.
Department of Human Environment Design
The Department of Human Environment Design trains students in the knowledge and technical skills necessary to create Universal Design for every living environment, including architecture, equipment, and products. We foster human resources with comprehensive views of human activity, who can create comfortable, high-quality living spaces for all people.
