Followings are examples of research activities currently conducted at the Research Center for PPP.
The Center is conducting independent researches on public facilities/infrastructure management and privding supports to local governments for forumlating Comprehensive facility management plans and implementing the plans as contract researches.

In response to catastrophic disasters such as Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 and Kumamoto Earthquake in 2016, the Center has been conducting researches and providing information.
Some of the examples are:
Proposals for reconstruction using PPP;
Researches on Public-Public Partnership (logistic and administrative back-ups for local governments);
Useful web-links for the times of disasters; and
1000 days chronicle and what-to diary (will be published in Spring 2017) in disasters.

Upon requests from local governments, the Center conducts Regional Development Support Program, a field survey program to find solutions for regional economic revitalization/development, administrative reform and etc.
Along with contract researces from local governments, various contract research and research collaboration are being performed.
