On Tuesday, July 17, Toyo University and Sorbonne University in Paris renewed their Agreement on Cooperation which includes the exchange of academics and researchers, and a PhD double degree programme.
The ceremony for the renewal was held at the Zamansky Tower at Campus Pierre et Marie Curie, Sorbonne University in Paris. Sorbonne University Vice President Prof. Serge Fdida and Toyo University President Prof. Makio Takemura attended the ceremony. The universities have a joint research collaboration in the field of bio-nano technology led by Dr. Toru Maekawa, Director of Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre, who also attended the ceremony.
Vice President Fdida applauded the longstanding partnership between Sorbonne and Toyo and announced plans to further deepen it, establishing collaborations not only in bio-nano technology but also in arts and the humanities.
