On 13th and 14th September 2016, the Graduate School of Regional Development Studies of Toyo University implemented a part of the training program on Certified Government Management Consultancy Program of Thailand.
With the cooperation of Kita-Ward in Tokyo, the participants visited 4 nursing care facilities and studied about elderly care services through the lecture given by the manager of Elderly Care Section of Kita-Ward on 13th.
On 14th, Professor Inagawa (Faculty of Sociology) gave the special lecture, “‘Long-term Care Insurance System and Welfare for the Elderly in Japan: Lesson from Japan’s Experiences”.
This training program aims to enhance and certify the competency of the Public Service Development Officers in various ministries of Thailand and is organized by the Institute of Good Governance Promotion (IGP), a service delivery unit under the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission of Thai government. 44 heads and officers of Thai government participated this program in Toyo.
